: How do you know they don't get banned? They usualy do get banned sonner or later.
Some YouTubeers have playlists full of custom skin previews and links on how to use them.And they still dont get banned.idk if it is okay to link some here so.

: Honestly it seems that people have been banned for using even programs that didn't help you cheat inside the game so if I were you I'd try to avoid using other programs during the game. While I understand why you would want to do that I'm not sure it's worth the risk. It would be nice though if Riot did some kind of custom game where you could try out skins and champs. You wouldn't have the actual skins during games which is what you want but at least we could try them out or something. At least the hextech crafting will help you have more skins for your champs to play with without having to use programs. :) Unless you're unlucky like me of course ^^
Hextech got me the other way around,it gave me legacy skins which was too good i had to buy their champs,a blessing and a curse as you can say.

: Custom skins are ok, and if that's the **only** thing the tool you use does, you won't get banned for it. There are several people claiming that they've gotten banned for custom skins, but that would only happen if the tool they used also provided them with other functions that's a violation of the ToU. Riot won't be able to make a list over which programs is ok, and which are not, since a program may be ok to use today, but update itself tomorrow with features that make it not ok. You'll have to be responsible yourself in ensuring that the tool you use is within the ToU. If you don't want to take the risk, I'd recommend using the [Lolking 3d model viewer](http://www.lolking.net/models). Here you can select any skin you want to see in a 3d environment, and you can select what animation you want to see as well.
Well,that's a fair warning.i guess ill have to warn my friends about it as well.Anyway,thank you for your time :D,you are saving lives now.{{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}

: I wouldn't risk it. There are many people who claim to have been banned for using LoLSkinPreview (or something with a similar name). There are other ways to preview a skin like the LoLKing model viewer, skin spotlights, or even PBE.
it isnt easy to enter PBE,It is a random chance that you may enter or not,so that option is Not available.
: Yes it is against the terms of use so you can deffenetly get banned for it.
WHat about Custom Skins,they need programs to be applied,and youtubers use it fairly much,and dont get banned.

: It's all at your own risk. There isn't an exhaustive list of unauthorised third party programs. If you want to see a skin before buying it, look on the internet for skin spotlights on said skins. It's better than risking your entire account.
good point,but what about custom skins?Youtubers use programs to use custom skins,and i dont think they get banned for it
