: It rarely happened to me, but the more i think about it, the **less i can try to think about a decent solution**. If someone _insta-ban your prepick_, and didn't say anything in the chat in champion select, **how can Riot ever find a reason to punish him/her**? When i began playing League, i _insta-banned champions that i didn't wanted to face_, but now, i'm litterally **showing my ban**, and **waiting for someone to actually stop me from banning this very champ** if one of my teamates actually wanted to play this champion. We could ask Riot for some kind of **solution**, but honestly, it is a_ hard issue_ to solve here... Because literally, the problem are** the players**. And _changing a player's behavior_ is kinda hard, unless there is a decent penalty to it... I can't quite come up with solutions... {{sticker:sg-soraka}}
I have been playing league on and off now for 3 years. I can tell you that players behavior has changed not because they became nice people, but because of the tougher punishment system and also a more tempting and rewarding honoring system. The solution isn't hard **at all.** It just needs to be taken upon seriously and to be added in the honoring and punishment system.

: until a solution from riot comes in just dont show your champ :) i do that months now and these people cant affect me :) the other but not so good thing (almost not good at all) is to pick your champ but dont ban immediately wait to see if anyone bans your champ on purpose and if this happen ban his too :P not sportmanlike at all but it provides a little self relief before going into game ^^ i would stick with the first though!! ;D
> until a solution from riot comes in just dont show your champ :) i do that months now and these people cant affect me :) haha I actually do that sometimes but Sometimes I want to show my champ to my team so we are supposed to adjust our choices together for a better sync plays. Also If I am playing bot lane, I have to tell my support what champion I might play, I believe that is a vital position to be clear on with your teammate. It is sad when that backfires on you though lol I am hoping the community and developers would work together on this issue as the solution of banning revenge battles is clearly not going to work lol

: >Exactly the type of attitude that I am talking about. Who gave you the authority over other people to determine what they play or not? Are you aware that preventing others to ban what THEY WANT is what YOU are suggesting. DOH! Are you native English speaker? There is a correlation between language used to communicate and proper communication. As well as logical reasoning... Maybe that's the case here. I suggest to think twice before expressing yourself. That helps tons too. TO not contradict yourself. Which is kinda silly.
Usually I do not reply to trolls. But thank you for giving me the opportunity to solidify my chase. > Are you aware that preventing others to ban what THEY WANT is what YOU are suggesting. Banning a champion is your right as long as your teammate has not announced he/she is going to play it **specially with him/her being in a high pick order ** which I clearly stated. >Are you native English speaker? There is a correlation between language used to communicate and proper communication. As well as logical reasoning... Maybe that's the case here. I suggest to think twice before expressing yourself. That helps tons too. TO not contradict yourself. Which is kinda silly. I don't know what version of English have you studied. My case is crystal clear and direct. I suggest that you spend more time being around people and try being nice :)

: I feel you, and I don't even understand why people would do that. I think there should be a system that **prevents** your teammate from banning your picks. It would work the same way champion select works after the bans are revealed : the picks are **greyed out** from the ban selection, preventing malicious players from baning your champion. However, I fear that it could encourage troll picks, which none of us want. We have to find a balance. {{sticker:sg-ahri-2}} Perhaps, instead of what I just suggested, it could go like this : If someone, says** player A**,_ bans_ the champion of **player D**, then,_ if there is still room for a champion to be banned_, **player A**'s champion will _automaticly be banned_. But the system I propose is **flawed**. What if player A **didn't declare their champion**? What happens, then?
> But the system I propose is flawed. What if player A didn't declare their champion? What happens, then? Not only that. What if he picked a champion that he simply will not play. It is not a practical solution. > However, I fear that it could encourage troll picks, which none of us want. We have to find a balance. That is why I suggested a penalty, not preventing a picked champion at all. Should the system detect for instance a mid player that was playing with a marksman the penalty will be light hence he might be a troll pick. But banning a bot's player marksman will lead to a huge penalty hence it wasn't a troll pick. Also there should be a pre-game report in order to flag that player for such behavior as soon as he banned the champ.

: You wanna know how many times I've banned my teammate's Lee Sin or a Yasuo just so he'd pick Xin Zhao/Brand and carry the team to victory? Nope. I do not like your suggestion.

Your methodology is disgusting and there should be a stop to people of your same attitude.

: Agreed :) The community is toxic as hell, but I don't mute anyone unless they start being really toxic. (you'll probably hate my name haha, but I changed it to fit my icon)
I will never play a game with you lol xD

: done and tried
Check if the antivirus is blocking it. Maybe disable the firewall till the installation is done .. or add it to exceptions list.
: i can't install 6.6 Patch ....
Make sure you have enough disk space, also try running the client as admin.
: Katarina counters
ekko can counter her if you played ur W wisely ... Want an easy kata counter? {{champion:131}} Say no more ..
: Recent Ping/lag/in-game freeze issues
Has anyone tried anything that at least gave him a semi-permanent solution ? Is there even a post where someone from Riot is commenting on this?

: Okay, so first of all, a vpn won't help you at all. vpn = Virtual Private network. It helps you in hiding your IP on the internet thus increasing your ms inside the game. So that won't help you with it. Secondly.. I'llw rite a few now: 1. So your problem starts when the minions spawn. that means that either the CPU is working much more than needed be or your video card is doing it. Lower your graphic details to the minimum. Check for updates for your video card and cpu alike. 2. You might've installed a program / or a game that is messing it up with your game. I installed Crysis 1 which installed DirectX 9 who screwed up LoL for me and made it unplayable in the past. Once i removed that everything came back to normal. 3. Check if you don't have some program running in background while you're playing the game. 4. Try to clean your PC / laptop / macbook of any viruses and/or spyware. This can also greatly affect your gaming experience. 5. Reinstall the game. 6. If the game reinstallation didn't work, then reinstall your Operating System. 7. Or instead of doing #6, just go with your PC/laptop/macbook to someone that's specialized and will fix it for you, except that it won't be free. Kinda tired now so I definitely missed out on some details.

Okay so I just logged in to say this .. Whatever this guy said starting from his "secondly" ... is all NONSENSE and very very very stupid ( sorry but it is true). Firstly, any lag or CPU\GPU problems will affect the FPS not the ping. the guy clearly mentioned his ISP, which means he is having PING problems. I have the same problem and here is my issue: [Link](http://boards.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support-en/zwwFyeE2-recent-pinglagin-game-freeze-issues). NOTHING was installed or uninstalled but for the patching of the game itself. Reinstalling the game will NOT fix your PING problem. Do not even try to reinstall your OS for a PING problem .. that's ridiculous. This is clearly a SERVER problem, in which the company should 1-realise and look into 2-address it to us 3-work on fixing it. There is a huge difference between a ping lag, and a FPS lag ... and anyone with common sense can differentiate.
