: Teamfight Tactics most broken comps
Yeah I've been running over most of the other comps with 6 stack yordles whenever I get my hands on them but sorcerers seem to be pretty solid counter to them. I still havent seen anything that can match an Elemental-Glacial tho, you can always survive the earliest rounds with {{champion:127}} {{champion:85}} {{champion:106}} {{champion:113}} and just wait til you get {{champion:34}} {{champion:63}}. The aoe cc and damage is just so insane

Thank you all for the talking points, I've never heard them before. My point still stands solid, 5 days after this post and over 7 months after my last point about this same problem. You can post any MS Paint graph you want, the sad fact still is that after 5-6 weeks of the beginning of the season, match making FORCES 50% winrate, it doesnt happen naturally. If you get an N match winstreak, the next N matches will be 99% guaranteed losses. Amount of matches youre allowed to win is a lottery, but it usually evens out at 2-3 wins, 2-3 losses after propably 150 or so matche. Match making will throw in 3 division lower 40% winrate trolls, fresh unranked lvl 30 accounts, people who flame in lobby and in game, you name it. Its predctable, it happens 50% of the time atleast. Its a fact. The real problem with this game isnt if a single champ has a 55+% winrate because its busted and needs a little tweak, its the cancer that is afks, trolls, ints and how riot enforces that behaviour because they serve a purpose. The sole purpose of forcing 50% winrate. They make sure that the arbituary rank stats stay as they are so they can pat themselves back and say "look, our ranked queue works peftectly, we got exactly the right portion of players in each division that it looks like the game is in perfect balance". These matches dont happen by accident. These matches happen because Riot makes them happen, forcing a match making system that %%%%s with its player base.

I got 15 months and close to a 800 games to prove my point to me, I know its totally anecdotal and has no value in this discussion but I just needed to let off some steam because i know it aint getting any better unless match making is fixed. me being a main support propably is just making things worse for me, because supports have almost no carry value. and obviously theres the top 1% of the 1% who are mechanically so solid with just the right champs that they can steamroll their matches, it doesnt mean that the match making itself is working correctly. Because it isnt. I havent seen any proof of it working correctly in close to 2 years now.

What an excellent NPC point of view, the company is most proud of you. I dont have a problem with winrate being 50. I have a problem with the fact that the match making forces it. The whole "skill cap" is just an arbituary point where after you reach it you'll get teamed with more people on loss streak, more people with afk/troll/toxic tendencies, it has nothing to do with the player whos stuck at it. Your personal gameplay has almost no positivive impact in the game, but its easy to negatively impact the outcome. I love the argument of "you belong in this elo" when Im not in that elo because I run out of skills against better players, or my team as a whole loses to a better team. 80-90% of my losses this season and last season were because of the rigged match making. If it was fair and if it "worked as intended", the matches would feel more like the actual gameplay mattered. Now its just waiting who goes afk, who starts inting, who starts flaming or all of the above and the game itself is dying because of it. This is a great game suffering from cancer which could be easily fixed. Bonus rant: Reporting is just a %%%%ing way to find the players who serve the sole purpose of keeping winrate at 50%, unless you say the forbidden hate words of the ancient demons or if you massively int in game, and even that is hard to get to the magical 0-15 limit

Called it https://imgur.com/PcuGpuC Maybe it's time to accept that ranked queue has become normal queue and the game had run its course. Atleast it feels like it. I remember seeing a point made about players hitting their skill cap and thats the point where you have to start dragging other players with you to victory, if the winrate stays at 50% at that point thats where youre supposed to be, which its the biggest bullshit argument I've seen so far about the state of match making and ranked queue in general. I mean, whats the point of playing a game where it starts as a 5vs5 most games, and when a player hits and arbitrary point the whole system decides that from now on, most of the games are going to be 2-4 vs 5 and a player that has hit the magical skill cap point has to smash their head throught a wall from game to game and still try to climb. Wouldnt it just be better to throw the whole ranked system to the thrash can as it is and just replace it with something you might have on CoD where you can level up from 0 to 50, decide to start a prestige mode, get a cOoL sKiN and start over. I get it that there are players who made the decision to pick couple of strong carries for example, and can run games down with them but me being a complete idiot, I started to main support almost 9 years ago and I'm paying the price for that decision. My point stands, match making is rigged, and it kills the game. It has been killing it for almost a full year, because never before has it been so much full of shit.

I also want to point out that this isn't something thats happening to me alone, I've talked to a lot of players who seem to suffer from the same thing, but I need to stress the predictability of the matches, wether its the upcoming 2-3 wins or the upcoming 2-5 losses. For example, the last two games were losses where in the first one our mid laner stated that hes gonna troll, which he did (afk farming jungle or jumping into enemy team solo whenever it was possible) and the second game our toplaner started the match just running into his lane trading brainlessly with no gameplay in mind. Theres a difference between trying to play for a small victory on lane and repeatedly just run into your lane opponent and faceroll skills until they die. Next match will most likely to be a loss, and most likely its thrown by a troll. Or I might lose the game for us, that happens too, obviously, and then I will win 2-3 matches or lose 2 more. I have a problem with how the wins and losses come in such a predictable way and how they almost never happen because 10 players are in it for the full run.

I never stated that I know for a fact, I meant that the experience I have from playing thousands of games with tens of thousands of players have helped me to get good at recognizing the difference between a bad game and and intentionally lost game, whether its out or tilted plays or full on inting

I have to agree with this post. Season 8 has been the heaviest to play, I'm not even lying when im saying that almost 70% of my matches had a reportable player, either in my team or the enemy team. The amount of trolls, inters, afks and ragers has been insane. Ive seen more games finished before 20 minutes than ever before, either because of the reasons I listed or the matchmaking has been really unfair for my team or the enemy. I dont know what happened but I hope Riot looks into this because its not even bad luck anymore when almost every match is ruined one way or another
