If you are using strong password, security software and didn't share your password, then your account should be safe. However, here is something fishy happening. If I were you, I would ask the support, when was last login with the account and what country from. This is not a personal information and can't be used against Riot security protection, but it can help to identify what might have happened if it really happened.
Yes sir, that was one of the questions among others that support ignored in their last reply. I'm looking forward and hoping for an evaluated answer from tham

Have you checked your computer for keyloggers? I recommend downloading free antivirus tool like [Dr. Web Cureit](https://free.drweb.com/cureit/?lng=en) or [Kaspersky Security Scan](https://www.kaspersky.com/free-virus-scan). Could you possibly entered login information on non-Riot website?
I am running a paid antivirus. different passwords for the apps and I do not recollect giving up my PW on any website (not the Riot one). Sad is, I am searching answers here and not in the communication with the support since his last reply was very non-informative.

I TAKE IT BACK OPENING ANOTHER TICKET WOULD DO NOTHING, FINAL DECISIONS ARE GENERALLY FINAL FOR SUPPORT, UNLESS A RIOTER SEES YOUR THREAD, INVESTIGATES IT, AND DECIDES OTHERWISE, BUT THATS HARDLY PLAUSIBLE, IT WOULD TAKE A MIRACLE FOR A RIOTER TO GO AGAINST THE SUPPORT REP.** 1. riot reserves the right to issue perma bans for these situations although most of the times they do help the owner regain access to his account unless there are unknown circumstances, or if they get hacked 3 times in which case riot considers the owner a security liability and bans the account permanently. 2. if they got into your league account and not into your email, they would require a password change to make it so you lose access to the account, and assuming they didnt know or notice you had a verified email address they might of gotten confused as to why it didnt work. 3. not click malaware, or share accounts, i mean theres a list of things one should do beyond those 2 basic steps to security. open another ticket if you have to and ask what happened to get you banned so you can better understand the circumstances that got you banned.
Thank you for the helpful input! With the three-strike rule - fully acceptable and understandable - that is why I have a strong PW and my account was never compromised before. Or not that I would remember. I once was locked for security 3 years ago I kinda remember but that was related to my move (change of IP) I guess. Btw I still think a token authentication or any added security as an option would be just awesome.

Accounts that have been highly-compromised pose a risk for other players, and, as mentioned previously, are at risk for suspension. Sadly I also do not understand the difference between "highly-compromised" and "compromised" ("softly"?) too...
: What did Player Support tell you?

Thank you for the original message though! :) Any ideas on 2400? 2400 is a riot impersonator. 2499 is a serious disciplinary action akin to selling or buying accounts. http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=3047538 seems to me you got hacked, and the hacker used the account to impersonate riot and spread more malware.
Yes, that is my suspicion too. But I have three questions where the opinion of the community interests me: 1. Lets say - ok this happened: Is an "final perma ban" the widely applied solution here? And is it ok? This could happen to anyone and is that acceptable? 2. And I still dont think they actually got into my account - since I was getting the PW reset mails - 7 of them till now and there is no way they would get access to my Gmail. What could a player do more than have his Email secured (Gmail, 2 way authentication) and having a strong password on riot (which is different to others)?

: Hello, The year 2100 is account's security ban. You should contact [Riot Games Support](https://support.riotgames.com/) for assistance. EDIT: This is why you should never tell anyone your login name or never use common word/phrase as login name.
2400 sadly now, and Support is not very informative on what that is or what can be done, except for that its final and nothing can be done

Was changed to 2400 the very next day and the information that could be googled were not that informative. Thank you for the original message though! :) Any ideas on 2400?
: I would like to ask you to contact [Player Support](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/requests/new) as soon as possible. They'll be able to give you further details around this suspension. Because I know how stressful it can be to not know what's up, I can tell you that this is not a usual permanent suspension for toxicity or not following the Universal Rules, so wait for PS to provide you with some feedback. Contact PS and they'll further assist you :)
Sadly the news - is even worser than the original situation. Any ideas? :-)
: - "hey! m8, I will sell you this fantastic car, for 25k€. It's awesome. Btw, if you buy it you must sign this contract that sais that I can take the car away from you whenever I want and for no reason at all if it pleases me" - "mmmm ok, take my money! I'll sign that contract" You can blame noone but yourself. I cannot understand how can anyone spend a single euro in this game. Just beyond me.
SugarRayMoe, its not about the money to be honest. League is a free to play game where I enjoyed spending every single euro and would never regret that. Mentioning money - was done just because it makes account identification much easier (PayPal, VISA) if anyone would say Im not the rightful owner. The moment I felt something great coming from League - like an awesome skin I just bought it - why not :-) Im spending my money all the time to make myself happy - why not here?

**Dear summoners, Dear Riot Employees reading this forum - if any,** please see the as for now my date of BAN changed to 2400 - meaning "Impersonating "Riot" with their name --No Red post to verify.--" according to Google. **Without any further explanation I was answered in the matter that :** _Your account is banned, the security is you responsibility and its final. Thank you. Goodbye._ I see no reason of not sharing all my case data with the community, maybe I will be able to understand what is happening here. Feel free to review it, add any comments and ideas. Currently I'm sitting here and trying to understand what has happened, if I'm the only one this happened to and what can be done. **Full case review as for now can be found at:** _(I removed all personal information)_ https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17524455/Riot%20Case.png **Thank you** **Ynoxx**
