: Agreed. Problem is many players forget that they're noobs themselves (not everyone is a challenger level player or pro player) and treat beginners as if they're the only noobs. Compared to other team games, LoL is probably the only game with more toxicity and played like "It is a 5v5 team game, but it is played like 5 1v1 game". Mute them, report them and play with nice players you come across or your friends.
Thank you, I'll try to do what you advised me to. And i'm glad that i'm not the only one who realized that (quoting what you said) "many players forget they're noobs themselves". Thanks again for leaving a comment ^^
: >Okay so since you've read the title, you probably already know that i'm going to whine about how beginners in League sometimes end up not playing this game anymore and give up. And the reason they do is quite obvious: they get flamed and harrassed so bad. I mean they can still enjoy the game if they move the chat in the corner (it may cut a lot of cummunication ,,, but at least they wont get harrased as much) And muting the pings is an option as well (if somebody isnt using the pings for its intended purpuse )
Thank you so much for replying and giving out tips. And i'll try muting the chat in my next game ^^

: I absolutely agree with you. I only occasionally played the game with bots my first year since it was just too damn frustrating. I even made a new account at the end of season 4 to give pvp another go ^^
Good luck! And don't let anyone ruin your fun. Thank you for replying as well, i feel kind of relieved that i'm not the only one dealing with this kind of problem ^^
: I'm not going to speak on normal since in my opinion, that is a place to have fun and try out new things (or builds). For ranked however, it really pisses me off when players hit the lane > dive their enemy > die > repeat that 5 times in a row.., why? Because even as a beginner, you should know that your power comes from gaining gold, which comes from killing minions, enemies or objectives, so obviously you didn't get stronger between suicide 1 and 4, while your enemy did get stronger. _This is also the biggest problem with the MMR system, it's got nothing to do with a players individual skill or belonging in the right division_ In general I never speak up about a players doing stupid shit, the only time I will reply with some common sense, is when a player is literally costing the game (still only speaking about ranked) while flaming someone else for it.
Speaking up about someone doing stupid shit doesn't have to be in an angry or mean manner, you can always just give them some advice and try to get your point across without getting anyone more frustrated than they already are. Thank you for taking the time to reply and helping me out.
: I'm not going to tell you to toughen up, but I will tell you to get used to it. This behavior exists at all levels. For example, RNG Uzi is renowned for flaming everyone constantly, and he is one of the best players in the world... So you will get flaming whether you are Iron or Challenger. The other question is whether you see any value in committing to Ranked play or not. Many who play ranked cease to see LoL as a game, and more as some kind of job; it is no longer something one does for leisure but something that becomes a matter of principle/honor or however else people see it for themselves. Some people get a great sense of accomplishment from climbing ranks, but at the cost of great frustration when they lose. Personally, I want to play League for fun, so I don't play ranked. Also it is good that you are playing vs Bots as a beginner, so that you can find some champions/roles you like.
I also am not planning on playing ranked because as you said i'm only playing for fun and sometimes people get too frustrated and ruin the game for everyone. But thank you so much for replying.

: Hello there, welcome to League of Legends! :) Unfortunately, part of this community (some would say most, others might say a small part) is toxic, immature, rude etc. Don't be upset by it, most online mp games that have a massive player base such as LoL can be everything mentioned above. League of Legends can be a lot of fun once you get the basics and is very addictive too. If you're bothered by rude and toxic comments in chat, just mute the chat, like others already suggested. If you don't have any friends who play LoL but would like to get into it and find out more about the game feel free to add me. I'd be more than happy to help you out and answer any and all questions you might have, or point you in the direction of the answers in case I don't have them :) In any case, welcome once again. Best of luck on the Rift!
Thank so much for your kind reply :) I'll be sure to add you because I honestly need some guidance and i'm glad that you offered to help.
: He could just disable the team chat from options. No more flaming teammates.
But once I do that, I won't to be able to communicate with them and know what some them are planning on doing, however I think i should mute all until i get the hang of the game. Thank you for your reply.
