: Use [this](https://support.kaspersky.com/11146#block2) guide to add the following files to exclusions which you find at settings: C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\lol.launcher.exe C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\lol.launcher.admin.exe C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\system\rads_user_kernel.exe C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\LeagueClient.exe Once it's done, go to "C: \ Riot Games \ League of Legends \ RADS \ projects \ league_client \ releases \ 0.0.0.96 \ deploy" or higher release version number. Scroll down and launch LeagueClient.exe from there. --- If you continue to have this issue, do the following: Get yourself [DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35), it will make sure that your DirectX is fully updated. --- **Delete and repair:** 1. Go to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Config\ and delete both **game.cfg** and **input** file. 2. Then go to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects and delete all ** lol_game_client..** folders. 3. Launch league of legends, in top right coner open settings and click **initiate full repair**. Now test the game out at custom game. --- Let me know how it goes :)

Hey, it worked! I added the given files as exclusions on my antivirus and opened up the league client from the path you sent. Everything seems to be working well now. I haven't played a game yet (since I'm put on low priority queue because of the remake that occurred). Is there a way for you to revert my low priority queue? It technically wasn't my fault that the directX error kept occurring. I checked out the game in the practice tool. It's working fine now and my chat feature is working again. Thanks so much! So, was it my antivirus that was bugging me all this time? I really want to know the actual cause to this problem.

Kaspersky Internet Security. But I've had that ever since I installed LoL and it never showed any DirectX errors until about a few months ago.

He'd be fun, of course. I just don't know how much I could climb with him. Initially I thought that his damage was through the roof. But recently he hasn't been doing much whenever I faced him in ranked. Like he's just "there."

I've been having the same problems. And the reconnect button hasn't been working for ages. I really don't know why Riot haven't put time into fixing this. The most annoying thing is how it tells me that I can't connect WHEN my internet is actually working perfectly fine.

Thanks for the reply. And yes, the reconnect feature has legit never worked for me. Sometimes, running the app as administrator helps, so I tried it this time as well. But then I quickly realized that it's my ticket to getting banned (lol). From now on I'm just gonna restart my PC, since Riot doesn't really care about this issue. Guess I have to come up with a solution myself.

Yea well the situation wasn't as bad for a few days after my post so I didn't bother posting anything, but it has come back and now it seems like it might be a problem with my ISP. I can ping servers fine and the ping is normal, but when I increase the packet size, the pings increase dramatically from about 20ms to my ISP to about 300ms. And this problem has shown itself in normal browsing itself. Sometimes I can't even load webpages because of how slow my internet speed is. I'm supposed to get 5 mbps up/download but when the ping is very high and when I receive packet loss, my speed goes down to about 2 mbps or even lower and this prevents me from playing League. I had a guy from my ISP come the other day and he said that everything seemed to be fine on my end and that it might be a problem on their end so they'd check it out. However, I haven't heard anything from them since then and they said that the wiring from my house to the ISP "seems to be fine." What I really want to find out now is whether the problem really is at my end (router/wiring problem) or if the problem really lies within the ISP. It's getting really frustrating now that I haven't played a lag free game in at least a month and my ISP isn't exactly the most cooperative bunch around. Sigh
