: Usually when you have a bad game it's better to just take a small break instead of going straight into the next game — this can only lead you to more frustration. I personally recommend going on the balcony for a little (unless its like 0 degress and super cold), you could play with your pets for sometime if you have any, make a sandwich or eat something sweet... There's so much things you can do in order to calm down. After that you can go again for a game, but I think it's a big no-no going immediately for another game and I literally see players doing this all the time! {{item:3151}}
I give it 5 - 10 minutes between games if its a bad game, but if its a game I play well in I will jump into another. But more often than not I last about 10 15 minutes and thats my game done because of one small thing thats tilted me, I enjoy league but because of that I find the game near enough unplayable at the minute.
: Think that u are i a 1v9 game where all players besides yourself are just bots ( it will be better if u mute all just for 4-5 games and see if u still tilt). Just know that if you lose a game or fight, it is your fault , because there is always something you could have done and prevented to win a game. You die to a gank? Your enemy is probably too afraid to 1v1 you (you are the better player). Your jng gives all 4 drakes?? He is setting the match on "hard mode" for you. This improves your future games when u have a semi decent jng as u know it could have being worse... Remember Every death makes you stronger (in the long run) . You will eventually see there is no point in raging when this is a game and is meant for u to have fun. ( Words from a Silver player) in 2019
Yeah I still get about 10 minutes into literally every game and one small thing tilts me and thats my game done.

That only really solves the problem of flamers though. I'm more on about people trolling etc. as thats something thats completely out of my control.

: I see your point. Not gonna pretend I have a solution for ya. Without knowing what more champs you've played or what you've tried out so far I can only suggest you "go wild" and try out champs you've never played before... Anyway, lets hope somebody else comments and hits the bullseye on your issue ;)

Just bouncing round different champions, although generally I've been known to play juggernaut / bruiser type champions but I don't really have many available to me on my account. Either that or mage champs are probably my go to but top lane would probably be the stronger between that and mid for me. Thanks anyway and lets hope so haha, mostly just for the sake of enjoyment, the game feels a bit stale for me atm might have to try get sett on my account and try him, he seems pretty fun.

: I'd suggest making a champion pool for yourself, not a classic one but rather narrowing down to champions you have fun playing. Once you've narrowed it down, you'll probably be able to tell your role as well. After that it's just focusing on that role with the champion pool you'd like to improve, reading about it, watching videos etc. Hope this helps. P.S. Make sure you check what champs are in the meta as that should make your life easier while climbing and also making the most out of your focus on a certain champ.

Make sure you check what champs are in the meta as that should make your life easier while climbing and also making the most out of your focus on a certain champ. Thats also my issue, the champs I've been enjoying have been bouncing around a lot too. I've really been enjoying xerath recently, but then I've also really been enjoying jhin, tanky supports like leona and nautilus, picked up a little bit of darius and constantly been enjoying mordekaiser since his rework. I like to have a bit of diversity for whatever role I wanna play too. For example, if I'm going through a top phase, I'll play roughly 3 4 champs for different situations e.g. if team needs ad tank ap tank ad bruiser or just ap. I can't really narrow down my pool to a specific role or lane which also makes it difficult but this has helped me out a little, thanks :)

: 1) Why do this in the first place? If every username has to be unique, just make people use their email address like practically every other company does - or allow same usernames but add an '##' ID on the end like others do. 2) Why no warning about it? Apparently emails were sent but I definitely did not get one. The first I heard about it was when I tried to log-in. I've since found a support article on it but that's useless basically as nobody ever checks support **until** they have a problem - we're not psychics who can see into the future and knew that this would happen. 3) Why are they taking this approach? If someone registered my username in NA 2 years ago but has never played a game I will **never** get to use my username again because of somebody that doesn't even use their account any more? Why is this system punishing the regular players ahead of those who don't even touch the game anymore? 4) Who seriously thought this was anything other than a disaster in the making? Because they should be fired. No, I'm not over-reacting here; whoever approved either genuinely doesn't give a toss about Riot's customers (very, very, plausible) in how this would affect them, or was too blind to see the repercussions. The fact that so many of us can't even access this game now because of such an atrocious decision is ridiculous. The lack of forethought here is astounding and I refuse to believe that any normal person would have failed to consider this cluster%%%% happening. Or was the person responsible just that obstinate that they refused to budge from their 'solution'? 5) Why is there no **proper** method of dealing with this from Riot other than "Fight among yourselves for the name you want."? A massive scale operation like this should have been properly organized and sensibly managed. Riot just looks even more incompetent than usual at the moment because of this. 6) Why has there been no acknowledgement from Riot regarding this fiasco? (although I'd be more surprised if they did - it took them seven sodding days to acknowledge the issues on EUW when TFT was launched - and that was a similar case in the fact that a lot of people were prevented from playing the game). 7) Why has the burden and onus been put on the players - surely such a large company should be able to arrange this themselves? 8) A general question; what the %%%% do they do with regards to quality testing / resolving potential issues ahead of time when implementing operations such as this? Because they always, **_ALWAYS_** make a complete and total pigs ear out of it - and that is putting it incredibly mildly. EDIT: 9) For those people who have the same username on multiple servers, why must they change their names due to this clash when, after their Riot account 'consolidating' their accounts, they still have to log into each region separately? What is the point of a Riot account if you have to change all of these? Why can you not just link them altogether? _[I only have one account but have seen others mention this - thank you to **RUiN3D** who posted later in this thread and reminded me]_ EDIT: 10) Can we have confirmation that there are no actual bugs with this? A lot of people have been saying that they've tried to change their name to something random like hntg895rheg and been told that said username is taken, which is a tad unlikely. Also, a lot of people have reported issues with the email recovery system not working. Seeing as I'll probably never get to play this game again I thought I'd test this and decided to get my password changed. I've been waiting for this email (should arrive in "a few minutes") for over 45 minutes now (yes I've checked my spam). Still not got it. On a related note, I can still login with my password (although I can't play until I change my username) so is there an issue with their password / username recovery system also? I know there's a couple of things I'm forgetting so I may return to this post to add to it. On a general note though, the biggest issue is that what should be a simple task, Riot have turned into a stressful and irritating - not to mention mandatory if you want to play the games again - convoluted mess for all involved.
I'm gonna go ahead and also say this hasn't affected everyone (just from my own experience) from my understanding the issue is people have been forced into changing their usernames and can't play the game without doing so, or something along those lines, from what I have seen people posting this is what I have gathered is happening. Now I am not surprised there's a huge mess and backlash on riot, whats new there, but I want to say from my own experience not everyone has had to deal with this, I have had this account locked away for many a year and I haven't had any of the issues I am seeing people posting about, I haven't seen anything regarding this nor have I personally had to change my username or anything. Just thought this may be some useful input considering everything I am seeing about it is in regards to this, maybe I'm not the only one who has had this, although the majority seem like this is the issue.

: are you sure isn't your problem? and not your team? 30% games some teammate int. 30% games enemy int. 40% you can change the game by your performance.
Think its more likely that 40% would be on teammates inting lol
